L’Artista
Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010L’Artista is a homely Italian under the bridge next to Golders Green tube station. It is always rammed jammed packed full, whether it’s lunch or dinner, weekday or weekend. The reasoning behind it being so busy is probably down to the fact that it is very much suitable for every occasion. Good for sharing a pizza at lunch (L’Artista special with parma ham and rocket is my favourite) or a full three course meal…
Plum in your mouth?
Thursday, November 19th, 2009Plum Valley, a fine dining chinese restaurant, is situated in the middle of London’s bustling China town. You can choose from a huge selection of tiny delights, as well as rice and noodles dishes if you wish to make you meal a little more substantial. My favourite is anything that contains prawns and is steamed. Think prawns and chinese chives, prawn and wasabi and prawn and scallop. Another big winner are the steamed honey roast pork buns. And as for the bigger dish, it has to be the handpulled noodles with duck.
Pretending to be the soup dragon
