Love Never Dies

On Thursday I had the pleasure of going to see ‘Love Never Dies’ at the Adelphi Theatre.

The play is the sequel to ‘Phantom of the Opera’. I was concerned before we arrived at the theatre that I would not understand the plot as I never saw the first instalment. However, that was not the case at all. Having no background knowledge was zero problem – I still found the story interesting…

VW can save money (and words)

When journeying home yesterday afternoon, I chanced upon this VW poster on the underground.

I think it is beautifully constructed. It shows how simple copy can be: how information can be cut out and not alter meaning. Although this example is sneaky though, because all ‘unnecessary’ information is included.

Hopping Mad

When I downloaded Doodlejump over the Christmas break, I approached it as a take it or leave it kind of an application. One I could turn to during comfortable and full festive silences. However, the more I played the more competitive I became. What doodle Jump say is true: “BE WARNED: Insanely addictive”.

What does your iPhone home screen say about you?

I always find it interesting to see which apps friends choose to put on their home screen of their iPhone. It strikes me that the layout and order of importance chosen could say convey alot of information at a quick glance.

I think mine would speak of a social media who likes organisation at her finger tips and who likes to communicate…
