As I type my photos are at the developers from my trip to India last summer. The number of films taken was 8. The number of shots per film 36. That means at full capacity there will be almost 300 pictures(!!!) Out of those 300 I have my fingers crossed for 50 good ones and around 10 pearlers.
My poor little films went through a lot of trauma. Monsoon season, hot hot Indian summer heat, being shot at the wrong exposure, camera being dropped, snapped film. But still, I have faith.
Since I’ve been back they have been hiding out waiting for me to get some money together to develop them. The time has finally arrived. I feel very excited and nervous. It feels so long since they were taken but I know as soon as I look at them all the memories will come flooding back.
Watch this space – they are on their way!! It is going to take me an eternity to scan them all in even when they do arrive… In the mean time here’s a few digital ones to whet your appetite.
