Since my last article the boys have continued to go from strength to strength. Living in London, I don’t get to see The Dilemma Council as frequently as I would like. But the good news for me (and them) (and you) is pretty much every weekend I go home they are playing another gig. Not to mention that everytime there is less standing space and more people dancing away than ever before. And it’s not just new people – there are definitely growing number of familiar faces who find their musical delights unmissable.
On top of that the guys are now available for weddings (that is to perform not for offers of engagement) and other events. You get a lot for your money in comparison to the normal overcharged rubbish you get at most musical party rendezvous. Their *sweet* young faces are a far cry away from the ageing fogies or jumped up middle aged men who too frequently populate the wedding circuits. You would be crazy not to book them – they are guaranteed to turn up looking awfully dapper in matching suits and come complete with their own PA system and politeness to boot. There is a good chance they will even wear ties to match your colour scheme if you found some and asked nicely. Another glorious touch is that they will learn your wedding song for a small charge. You can guarantee they will have a set list that will ensure everybody is up and dancing in no time and keep them there until they stop playing and there will be drunken cries for ‘MORE!’.
The only thing that would stop me booking them for my own birthday party or such like celebration is I would miss them being around to socialise with.
Book them sharpish before you get pipped to the post: www.thedilemmacouncil.co.uk
